The company is owned and managed by both Mr. Jetro Sabelo Sangweni, being previously disadvantaged South Africa.The company's management is minimal in order to keep the overheads low. Together,management have more than 2 years of experience within the transport industry and with Mr.Jetro Sabelo Sangweni as Managing Director/Financial Manager, the company will continue totap into his resilience and determination which is the driving force behind the business’ growth. Mr. Shoes is the operations manager who worked his way to the top. Through his 1st hand experience from truck driver to operations manager, he is well equipped and experienced to maintain operational and cost effectiveness for the business. WILLIAM FREIGHT ’s labor force consists of semi-skilled to skilled employees and up skilling istaking place on a regular basis. A Personal Development Plan (PDP) is developed for all staff in line with the implementation of a Performance Management System throughout the organization. Union representation is only in SA but very good communication betweenmanagement and unions exist. South African staff is not affiliated to any union. WILLIAM FREIGHT is a well-established road freight transport and courier company,located Johannesburg. The business transports a variety of general cargo and goods in South Africa, and also offers a dedicated overnight road freight courier service between Gauteng, North West, Western Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Mpumalanga and Limpopo. From its humble beginnings in 2018, the company started out as a home-based transport business with the acquisition of a medium sized truck, initially transporting goods collecting and delivering. Within a coupleof years, the company increasing demand for its services. The company alsohad to increase its fleet of trucks which is currently standing at 11 X 34-ton trucks (interlinks) with various smaller delivery trucks and pick-ups.
